Kado Ottawa, Ottawa, Ontario
Private Meeting A Reading and Conversation with
Penny Harter and William J. Higginson
Kado Ottawa is in its fifth year as a local group devoted to appreciation and adaptations of Japanese traditional poetry. Founded by Terry Ann Carter and Marianne Bluger, the group meets quarterly, and has just published a chapbook, invisible tea, in honour of Marianne, who passed away last year. The summer meeting is a
traditional Japanese style picnic usually by the water, where all participants
bring a "pot luck" and members
celebrate the season with a round-robin reading.
This event is coordinated by Terry Ann Carter. Those interested in attending may contact us for further information. |
